Growing up with porcelain + cobalt blue and constant yucky-brown earth tones, I did not understand why people were so NUTS about ceramics. It wasn’t until the recent years (COVID-10 pandemic) that I began to see that modern technology allowed for more colors in glazes. As a result, I decided to go on a mission to “cure my earth tone PTSD” by creating functional, houseware, ceramics in pink.

My favorite combination is white, speckled stoneware clay with matte pink from chome flashing. I occasionally make porcelain with glossy pink chrome flash.
